Volunteer at the Cultural Arts Center

The Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center (WCAC) has a variety of volunteer positions available. WCAC volunteers are required to complete an application and background check process before a short interview with the Volunteer Services Coordinator to discuss interests, placement, and scheduling. In addition to the regular volunteer positions, there is also a need for volunteers to assist with special events throughout the year.

Here is a list of volunteer opportunities:


Usher	Greeting patrons, handing out programs, assisting those with special needs, giving directions, and answering basic questions about the center and event.
Special Events Assistant	Supports center activities by providing a wide range of services such as coordinating and assisting with fund-raisers, VIP services, special event set up, artist load-in and other duties as needed.
Class Assistant	Assisting instructor in the classroom with various arts and craft related activities.
Family Art Night	Assist instructor with set-up, clean up, distributing art supplies, and helping participants with paint, clay, sculpture and other types of hands-on art projects.
