Located in the core of the downtown area, Station One houses Engine 1.  The facility also houses Brush Rig 1 (BR-1),  and Tender 1, which are staffed, when needed, by the same personnel.  Station 1 is one of the busiest houses in the Department. The Fire Chief, Operations Chief, Administrative Chief, Public Information/Education Officer and other adminstrative staff are assigned to this location.
