When disasters strike, they rarely hit only one jurisdiction. The City of Hillsboro works closely with its surrounding jurisdictional partners, and throughout the Portland metro region, to ensure our plans are coordinated. We also train and exercise with our partners, then test and improve our plans based upon lessons learned.
Washington County's Emergency Management Plan outlines how the county will deploy its resources during a disaster. Washington County responds to the unincorporated areas of the county, but also directly supports its cities and special districts.
