The City commenced the Downtown Community Plan planning process in late April, 2008. In August 2008, the City and its consultant team gathered information including input from the community, elected officials, property owners, and others.
The first major "work products" for the Downtown Framework Plan, draft Vision Statements for each subarea are available here. The Downtown Framework Plan (DFP) describes existing conditions, includes downtown vision statements and lists the goals, policies and actions that will accomplish the identified Downtown Community’s goals. The actions are prioritized and implementation tools are identified to make the plan a reality.
